Heritage 4x4 Outfitters, LLC ("Heritage," "we," "us" or "our") is a mobile Jeep and truck repair business based in Louisville, Kentucky, serving the Louisville area and Southern Indiana. This policy applies to information we collect through heritage4x4outfitters.com, our phone line, text messages, email, and when we provide service to you.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The address or location where you'd like service done.
• Vehicle details such as year, make, model, mileage and VIN.
• A description of the problem or the work you want, plus any photos or videos you send.
• Anything else you include in a form, call, text or email.

Calls and messages

When you call or text us, we receive your phone number and the date and time of the contact. Calls to our business line may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and record-keeping. We also keep copies of the texts and emails we exchange with you.

Payment information

Card and digital payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers. Payments made through apps such as Venmo, Cash App or Apple Pay are handled under those companies' own privacy policies.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and your approximate location, using cookies and similar tools. See Cookies and analytics.

3. How we use your information

4. Text messaging (SMS)

If you check the text-message consent box on our website form, or you text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Heritage 4x4 Outfitters about your request and your service. These messages include replies to your questions, scheduling, appointment reminders, estimates, service updates, and follow-up after your service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. More detail is in the Text Messaging Terms section of our Terms and Conditions.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

• Service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, our customer communication system (calls, texts, email and forms), analytics, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Parts suppliers, when we need your vehicle details to order the right parts for your job.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Heritage, our customers or others.
• Business transfers, if Heritage is sold, merged or reorganized, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information is not shared with any third parties.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect information such as pages viewed and time on site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The site still works with cookies turned off.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide service, keep service and warranty records, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website, phone system or storage method is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please don't send full card numbers by text or email.

9. Your choices and rights

• Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us to stop.
• Access, correction and deletion: contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may keep records we're required to keep by law, such as invoices.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We will honor requests as required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for making one. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

Our website and services are meant for vehicle owners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

Our website may link to other sites, such as Google, Facebook or parts manufacturers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be posted here before they take effect.
